                               Belles & Broomsticks Morris
                                                Guernsey's own Morris dance team

The Belles  are a mixed Cotswold and Border Morris side based in Guernsey in the Channel Islands. We dance the Morris because we enjoy it. It is enlivening and invigorating and satisfies our human love of dance - we are not primarily concerned with its history and possible meanings. We are part of a brand new 'tradition' and we hope to offer an entertaining and polished display of what we see as Morris Dancing, though it has moved a long way from its roots. We very much hope that our audiences can appreciate and  enjoy what we do.
